Library Assistant 2, Learning and Information Services

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide outstanding customer service to customers of all ages. The primary responsibility of this position is providing customer assistance, reader’s advisory and supervision in the library’s children’s, teen and adult service areas. The selected candidate will assist with programs and special events.

Requires high school degree or equivalent, and at least one year in customer service. Library experience, some college or equivalent education. Experience working with children and teens is beneficial. Schedule includes days, evenings and weekends; 18 hours per week, $13.25/hour. Must be available year round including summer and school breaks.

Library Assistant 2, Circulation

We are looking for a friendly customer-focused individual to welcome and assist customers by checking library materials in and out and assist them with questions and problems concerning borrowing library materials. The selected candidate will also sort and shelve materials. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential skills. The schedule includes days, evenings and weekends; 16 hours per week, $13.25/hour. Must be available year round including summer and school breaks.
