Library Assistant 2, Learning and Information Services
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide outstanding customer service to customers of all ages. The primary responsibility of this position is providing customer assistance, reader’s advisory and supervision in the library’s children’s, teen and adult service areas. The selected candidate will assist with programs and special events.
Requires high school degree or equivalent, and at least one year in customer service. Library experience, some college or equivalent education. Experience working with children and teens is beneficial. Schedule includes days, evenings and weekends; 18 hours per week, $13.04/hour. Must be available year round including summer and school breaks.

Librarian 1, Adult Services
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to prepare and deliver engaging programs, events, and outreach to adults. You will also be providing outstanding customer service at public service desks, so confidence using technology, print and online reference sources, and readers advisory tools is required.
Requires a high school or equivalent degree, one year library experience and experience planning programs and events. Additional college or library training preferred. Schedule includes days, evenings, and weekends, 40 hours per week. $14.42/hour, paid leave, health insurance, and KPERS retirement benefits.
