Events for Kids
All library events are free and open to the public.
2017 June 5 – July 16
Suggested for kids birth to preschool
Songs, rhymes, books, and music make storytimes fun for kids and parents. Several sessions are offered for different age groups. Find schedule details on the Storytimes Page or the Events Calendar. No registration is required.
June 6 – July 13
Clubs are a big part of summer reading fun! Library staff lead activities and special projects. All programs are free and open to the public. Registration is not required, but due to space limitations, we ask that children attend only one club session per week.
Groups of six or more, please call ahead to schedule your visit.
The Architects: K – 1st grade
Meet in the Tami Borck Storytime Room (30 min)

Thursdays 1:30 p.m.
The Innovators: 2nd – 3rd grade
Meet in the Tami Borck Storytime Room (45 minutes)
Wednesdays 1:30 p.m.
Thursdays 2:30 p.m.
The Game Changers: 4th – 6th grade
Meet in the auditorium (60 minutes)
Wednesdays 2:30 p.m.
Zoofari Tails Storytime
One Friday each month at 10:00 a.m.
Suggested for ages 3+
Zoofari is usually the final Friday, but please check the calendar for exceptions.

Children are invited to listen to stories, move and dance like animals, and explore interesting animal bioartifacts facts such as furs and feathers. Some programs include a visit with a live animal from the zoo! No registration is required.
