Special Storytime Notice
Please allow a few extra minutes to find parking during the construction project. Street parking is also available on Poyntz Avenue across from the library, on Juliette Ave., 6th Ave., or Houston Street. Storytimes will be held in the lower atrium, accessible by the stairs or elevator near the children’s room.

Weekday Storytimes – June 2 – 28

Mondays at 11:00 a.m. or
Thursdays at 9:30 a.m.

This storytime is designed specifically for infants and young toddlers. Enjoy bouncy rhymes, nursery songs, short books, and baby sign language. Caregivers participate with children. Suggested for ages 0-18 months. Each session is approximately 20 minutes.

Mondays at 9:30 a.m. or
Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. or
Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m.
Get ready for an active storytime for toddlers and their parents or caregivers. Fun stories, fingerplays, action rhymes and musical instruments will get toddlers moving and learning about animals, shapes, colors and more. Caregivers participate with children. Suggested for ages 18-36 months. Each session is 20-25 minutes.

Thursdays at 11:00 a.m.
This is a lively story and music session for preschoolers with great picture books, action songs, rhymes and dancing with instruments, scarves or a parachute. Suggested for ages 3 and up. Caregivers attend with children ages 2 and under. Each session is 25-30 minutes.

Fridays at 10:00 a.m. or
Saturdays at 11:00 a.m 
Families are encouraged to attend together to sing, dance, and enjoy great stories. An adult caregiver must attend with children age 2 or younger. Each session is 30 minutes.
