Ever wondered how the prestigious Caldecott award is decided? Join us for a "mock" Caldecott event to discuss the most distinguished picture books of 2013 and vote on a winner. 1:00-2:00 reading nominated books, 2:00-3:30 brief presentation, discussion and voting. Sponsored by ChALC (Children's & Adolescent Literature Community), the K-State English Dept., and Manhattan Public Library.
