Out and About

The library has a series of books that hit on all sorts of places you may take your child. Each book includes a list of questions to try to find the answers for and then reads like you are on a tour of the place. They hit on the main points of each place, of course, but also talk about the behind the scenes work – the cooks who prepare food at the zoo or the design editor at the newspaper. These are great for introducing a class to different careers or just for the kid who is always asking, “But how do they….?”

Titles include:
Out and About at the Newspaper
Out and About at the Post Office
Out and About at the Public Library
Out and About at the Planetarium
Out and About at the Zoo
Out and About at the Dairy Farm
Out and About at the Vet Clinic
Out and About at the Fire Station
Out and About at the Baseball Stadium
